I made this piece in homage of James Krenov, who’s writings and work gave me the direction and the encouragement to pursue woodworking as an art. I was luckily accepted to the College Of the Redwoods Fine Woodworking Program where I spent 2 years.   The piece plays off many of my favorite works of Krenov while not losing any of my own voice. I hope he would approve.
