Necessity does not have to dictate poor craftsmanship or taste, i.e. the Ikea experience. Custom woodworking, traditional joinery, solid wood, heirloom quality, is a choice people don’t even know exists. It’s a shame really, that folks spend so much money on bringing objects from China to bury in our landfills.
